Solution 2 – Make use of Windows ISO Disc Image

 

You can make use of the Windows installation media such as ISO file and this can be used to solve the issue without any hassle. Follow the steps to use it:

1. Place Windows OS ISO file by using File Explorer and click right on it after that select Mount. This will mount the disc image to Windows with a temporary drive letter.

You are now redirected DISM to mounted Windows ISO file. Thus, you can run the DISM command for ex. Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and it should start working.

 

Solution 3: Make Use of the SFC /Scannow Command

 

By running the SFC command, you can fix the problem as this scans the Windows installation’s system files and also replaces the damaged or missing files.

  • Press Windows Key + X and click Command Prompt as Admin.
